Hello Reva, lateral admission to directly second year of four year degree course in engineering in Maharashtra is based on marks obtained in BSc or Diploma examination. I do not think it is based on any entrance exam conducted by Govt of Maharashtra. I am attaching a link that will give you all the required information even though it is for COEP.

Hello Janhavi, yes the admissions in VJTI are based on the ranking in MHT CET examination conducted by the state of Maharashtra. For candidates domiciled outside Maharashtra they can SEE admission based on their JEE Mains ranking under what is called as all India quota. Best wishes to you.

Hello Akshata, this information is not readily available. In any case, cutoff for different branches keeps changing every year. Hence info of previous year though useful can not be relied much. But this being premium institute, you need to be in top percentile bracket for getting admission here.
Best wishes to you.

Hello Janhavi, not taking JEE Mains is no issue. You must appear for and score well in MHT CET conducted by Maharashtra for becoming eligible for admission in VJTI. Perhaps only private engineering colleges can give you admission based on 12th marks under management quota. Best wishes to you.

Hello Maitri, normally speaking admissions in VJTI are based on entrance examination conducted by government of Maharashtra called MHT CET. Of course some seats are reserved for all India quota and are filled based on ranking of JEE Mains. However you can download the college predictor from internet to get an idea of your Probability of getting your desired branch and college. Best wishes to you.
