HSC textbook
Marvel Publications and Pradnya Publications
Target publications for Physics and Maths
physics = PLPN's physics written by Biradar and Chandele. Its the best nook for solving the MCQs.
chemistry = Himalaya publication's book of chemistry written by Waghale.
maths = book of Arihant publications is best for the maths in the MHTCET preparation.

For admission to different courses offered by polytechnics, you will have to appear for an entrance exam conducted by state govt. Based on merit, you will get the college.

Candidates applying for the admissions should have acquired a first class degree or they should have obtained at least 60 per cent (55 per cent marks for SC/ST) in BE/B.Tech/B.Sc (Engineering)/M.Sc/ MCA/MBBS/M.Pharma/B.Pharma (four year degree)/BDS (4 year degree)/associate membership examinations conducted by recognised professional bodies (like Institution of engineers (India), institute of chemical engineers, aeronautical society of India, institute of electronics and telecommunication engineers, Indian institute of metals, etc.) and recognised as equivalent to BE/ B.Tech degree.
