With a VITEEE rating of 30000, it may be difficult to gain admission to the Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) programme at the VIT Vellore campus. Typically, the cutoff for CSE at VIT Vellore is in the top rankings, often much below 30000. However, admittance is also determined by the number of applicants, their preferences, and the availability of seats. It is encouraged that candidates attend counselling sessions as soon as possible, as fluctuations and withdrawals can lead to opportunities for candidates with somewhat lower ranks. The Vellore Institute of Technology (AP)'s flagship programme is BTech. VIT Amaravati provides full-time BTech programmes in three specialisations: computer science, electronics and communication, and mechanical.
