The total tuition fee for BTech and BE ranges between INR 3.49 Lacs and INR 11.62 Lacs as per an unofficial source. The fee varies as per the BTech specialisation selected by the candidates. Aspirants are required to pay the course fee after completion of all the selection rounds to confirm their seats. In case, a candidate is unable to pay the fee within the specified time, his or her admission will stand cancelled. Aspirants will also need to pay a registration fee to apply for admission. Additionally, candidates need to pay INR 1,100 as application fee for professional courses.

 No, candidates who wish to apply for BTech course must pass VELS Entrance Exam. The entrance exam is conducted in offline mode as a pen-paper based mode. The questions in entrance exam will have a total of 100 questions in Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and English. The total duration of the exam will be 90 minutes. Candidates need to qualify for the VEE exam by securing the minimum marks to be eligible for admission to the institute. Yes, BE and BTech are four-year courses divided into eight semesters. School of Engineering, School of Maritime Studies and School of Ocean Engineering offers BE in eight specialisations, namely Computer Science, Electronics & Communication, Electrical & Electronics, Mechanical, etc. BTech is available in four specialisations, namely IT (Cloud& Mobile Based Application Development)in Association with IBM, Biotechnology and Naval Architecture, Offshore Engineering and Petroleum Engineering. The courses are offered in multiple streams like Engineering, Management, Science, Commerce, etc. BTech, MBA, BSc and MSc are the top courses offered by the university.
