Veterinarian

Bachelor of Veterinary Science [BVSc] and AH is a five years undergraduate course that prepares and shapes student's knowledge in assisting veterinarians in their laboratory studies, medical emergencies for animals and extended critical care and research. During the course of their study, students get to experience hands on practice apart from theory and lecture-based classes. The programme also gives clinical experience and offer internships with professionals at leading offices
B.V.Sc. and AH syllabus includes training in exotic animal care, disease identification, nutrition and animal husbandry. The classes expand students' knowledge and horizon in animal care. It thus enables them to find jobs in areas of ranching, zoology, animal nutrition and research. The course fees ranges between INR 10,000 for the total duration. The probable salaries offered to successful postgraduates in this field are between 3-5 lacs per annum.
