Except for one or two colleges, a majority do not teach VFX as a standalone course. If a course is totally a specialized VFX course, then it would require at least 1000 hours of teaching at a PG or Diploma level and 2500 - 3000 hours at UG Degree level. The cost per hour could be anywhere between Rs. 150 - Rs. 300. So, expect a fee around 1.5 to 2 lakhs for a PG / Diploma course and 5-6 lakhs for a UG Degree course.

The course for 3D Animation and VFX differ from 6 month onwards to 2 year specialization and hence the fee ranges from 60 thousand to 2 lakhs and over. VFX could be studied through 3 types of courses. Under B.A (Hons) Communication & Design - Visual Effects and B.Sc Digital Media (Visual Effects). One may also learn VFX with other important subjects like 2D Animation, 3D Animation, Digital Designing, Video Editing etc through B.Sc Media Technologies. Please speak to 8886823457 in order to understand which course would be the most apt one for your interest/attitude/abilities.
