Well if you are into multimedia and animation than you can definitely go ahead. LPU believes in the fact that money should not be a constraint for a student to pursue his choice of studies. Scholarship can be availed in the various courses offered by LPU. LPU offers scholarship based on various categories like previous qualification percentages, LPU NEST exam, national level test, defense personnel or CAPF dependents and many more. Talking about salary of VFX Artist, it all depends on upon your capabilities and imagination to make the end product look ultra professional. And if you are a fresher then salary would be in the range of 8-15k. Once you got the good experience in this field you can earn a lot more than you think. I've heard about some guys with 5 years of experience and they are earning 70 K per month. It is a growing course. And now talking about the Executive producer, earns an average salary of Rs. 800,000 per year. Most people with this job move on to other positions after 20 years in this career. Experience strongly influences income for this job.

Placements and packages are very good as the college has its tie-ups for placements. The course is having a huge scope because of the rising demands of this course in the industry.

Dear Jithendranath , drawing is normally considered to be an essential part of pre-production & normally VFX is a domain come in post production , hence, though may be directly its not mandatory but drawing is the most powerful tool to visualize an idea. Its not mandatory but definitely it got a huge role to play in creative field and its a big advantage for the people who know to draw :)

Dear Jithendranath, you are a better person to answer your question , just imagine , from morning to evening what ever you see on your TV screen , almost everything has a contribution of VFX . Specially in past one year almost every 2nd ad on TV has used 3D animation and VFX , so the point is very clear , there is huge scope.
