If you would have asked this question a few years ago, then I honestly would've said that there is little to no scope when it comes to animation and VFX courses in India. However, in present times, I absolutely must say that this once limited scope has expanded spontaneously. Movies like Baahubali show exactly how big the animation and VFX industry has grown. One such field that you probably don't know about has to be the outsourcing of animation and VFX requirements to India, which is one of the many reasons why this scope will simply not decrease. Now, we must say that there are a number of institutes that provide you with acceptable

Talking about salary of VFX Artist, it all depends on upon your capabilities and imagination to make the end product look ultra professional. And if you are a fresher then salary would be in the range of 8-15k. Once you got the good experience in this field you can earn a lot more than you think. I've heard about some guys with 5 years of experience and they are earning 70 K per month. It is a growing course. And now talking about the Executive producer, earns an average salary of Rs. 800,000 per year. Most people with this job move on to other positions after 20 years in this career. Hi Joel Joseph,
USA has a very good scope for animators and visual effects professionals but getting a job is the tricky part. They have very strict work permit schemes and H1B policies are getting tougher. Read some current affairs. You may check Canada and Ireland. Regarding the placement you may contact the institute directly.

Definitely, a good scope in the industry. The evolving technologies are an example for what the future will bring. Many industries are looking for VFX and animation experts for advertising, film making and more. It's not going to be easy but there's a bright future for sure.

There is good scope in every field. Please remember that you should pursue a stream based on two things:
- Your career goal
- The type of job you want to do
Pay of a Hotel Management Candidate is average. After 34 years of work, you reach up to a scale of 50 - 60 K.
While animation, graphics or web designing are somewhat ne to our country and we need a lot and lot more of these types of professionals. Because every thing is going digital, so, as a career if you are a good graphics developer or animator then salary can go beyond your thinking limits.

It is one of the most glamorous looking but most unstable professions in the movie and TV industry. Most VFX artists end up being freelancers called on contract for specific projects to even specific shots.
The senior pros like VFX supervisors can get a good deal once in a while but for the others it is mostly crumbs after long hours! There is way too much volatility, farming of work, outsourcing and rank bad budgets too that can really make life in VFX a nightmare. Do a search for the Oscars protest by the workers and company that did the amazing, award winning work for Life of Pi.

Yes, you can opt for animation course along with your ongoing BCA degree program, provided you can manage both the courses well, which indeed is going to be tough as both the courses demand great amount of concentration, practice and knowledge build up.
There are many courses available in animation stream, yet I would suggest you to go for a Diploma course instead of a degree program to begin with. However, you can later opt for upgrading it or simply go for advance/ higher courses in animation field.
