Well, it is easy for a mathematically challenged person to learn Animation and VFX, and likewise, it is easier for a creatively challenged person to learn Programming. A good mentor and wise selection of courses with a good school, followed by diligent learning, would get you a head start in your career. Opportunities lie in UI Design, Graphic Design, Storyboarding, Animation Design, Game Design, 3D Modelling, Texturing and Lighting, Dynamics and VFX and of course animation (2D and 3D). Of course at the top of the pile lies Concept Designing - these people are required by Event Companies, Animation Studios, VFX Studios, and of course G

Hi Arvind,
There are different ways to get into the VFX industry and not all of them require an education. However, one criteria in common with recruiting departments across the board-a set of skills, which includes technical problem solving skills, a good eye for detail, creative bent of mind, basic drawing skills (so a background in fine art would be great, although not necessary), a solid understanding of photography and the interplay of light, color and shadow. These are the best institutes for learning VFX in India:
Anibrain XDI, Pune
DSK SupInfocom, Pune
National Institute of Design (NID), Ahmedabad
Whistling Woods International Insti
