First, you have to know your own interest, then decide for right course. In my opinion, BCA is better than animation, later you can apply for MCA.

Talking about salary of VFX Artist, it all depends on upon your capabilities and imagination to make the end product look ultra professional. And if you are a fresher then salary would be in the range of 8-15k. Once you got the good experience in this field you can earn a lot more than you think. I've heard about some guys with 5 years of experience and they are earning 70 K per month. It is a growing course. Arena Animation Jayanagar Bangalore is now offering B.Sc. in VFX, in collaboration with Jain University, Bangalore. Since this university is approved by UGC and this is a regular course, then it is definitely better than a degree offered by any other institution, which is mostly through distance mode.

Yes, you can go for B.Sc. Gaming and VFX if you are not good at drawing but you have good observation, ample creativity and vivid imagination. In fact, many technical departments in film-making process including Dynamics, Rigging, Texturing, Lighting, Animation etc. Do not require sketching skills at all. Working on the software does not require much sketching. Besides, there is always a provision to import references, if any help is required.
