You can go for animation and VFX as opportunities lie in UI Design, Graphic Design, Storyboarding, Animation Design, Game Design, 3D Modeling, Texturing and Lighting, Dynamics and VFX and of course animation (2D and 3D). I would suggest you to go by interest because it will help you achieve great heights and good packages as well.

Most of the institutes in India offering the course admit students based on their performance in a relevant entrance test. Some institutes also admit students based on the candidates obtained merit at the level of graduation, while some conduct their own entrance tests for offering admission, inclusive of a round of counselling.
The round of counselling consists of two additional rounds of Group Discussion and Personal Interview, to assess the candidate's general aptitude for the course. A merit list is subsequently released by institutes, allotting available seats to qualifying candidates.

Visual effects have more to do with images or a series of images that are manipulated in a way that unnatural occurrences look realistic. Animation, on the other hand, is involved with the creation of an object in 3-dimensional space that may, later on, be incorporated as a series of images for visual effects.

Hello,
I am from Lucknow and I did Animation course in 2009-11 which costs me around 2.5 lacks form some other institute.
Diploma course fee lies between 3 lacks to 4 lacks in Lucknow.

Hello,
So, basically, you want to do a short studies on VFX and want a job after that. Yes, there is a probability that you will get a job after that but the pay scale will be like 8 k to 13k that is it. Nobody can guarantee you a job in any course. It is all up to your hard work, dedication and skills. Thank you!
