Based on the cutoff ranks for Vignan’s Institute of Information Technology (VIIT) in Visakhapatnam, the closing rank for Computer Science Engineering (CSE) in 2023 ranged from 16,274 to 54,461 for general category students 1. However, the cutoff ranks for Vignan’s Institute of Engineering for Women (VIEW) in Visakhapatnam are not available for the year 2023. These questions are always hard to answer because pretty much nobody will have studied at all of the universities mentioned. And I know almost nothing about Computer Science*. However, I could give you my first reactions to each based on some years of working in graduate recruitment and well, blind prejudice and (reputation), so here goes:
Bath: Clever students
Loughborough: Sporty students
Liverpool: Clever students, but lots of scousers
Glasgow: Clever Scottish students
Queen Mary: Londoners and foreigners
Cardiff: Party, party!
Lancaster: Northern students
Exeter: Posh students not clever enough to get into Oxford or Cambridge.
Bath: Clever students
Loughborough: Sporty students

According to a post on Shiksha, Thapar Institute of Engineering and Technology Patiala is a better option for ECE. Placements in the college are great compared to other tier-2 colleges in India. The average salary package offered to ECE students is 6 LPA. Around 4-5 core companies visit the college for ECE students every year. However, IIIT Delhi is better for CSE.
