If you wish to switch your field of education and pursue visual communication, you can go for B.Sc. In visual communication. If you were eyeing on M.Sc. Programme in visual communication after B.Sc. In Maths, then you are not eligible. You will have to start from scratch and apply for graduation course in visual communication.

Several specializations are available for this course such as Accessory design, Architecture, Ceramic design, Fashion design, Game design, Graphic design, Industrial design, Interior design, Leather design, Jewellery and Metal Smithing, Knitwear design, Multimedia design and Textile design. Candidates who have completed this course can find lots of job opportunities in different fields of design industry. It is upto you to decide what career path you want to walk on.

In order to apply for a B.Sc course in visual communication, you must have passed 10+2 from a recognized board of education in any discipline. Admission is based on the marks obtained in 10+2.

It is advisable to look for the course related to your field only like you can look for Post Graduate Degree or Diploma in related to Visual Communication course like:-
1. Film and Visual Cultures
2. Visual and Material Culture
3. Film and Media Studies
4. Visual Communication Design
5. Visual Effects.

You can look out for government colleges if budget is a constraint for you. Mumbai University would be the best option in Mumbai. It offers both; Journalism as well as Visual communication. In Pune also, you can apply for admission in Department of Communication and Journalism, Savitribai Phule Pune University.
