The placements at VTU have shown an increasing trend over the previous years. The median package offered to MBA students at VTU increased from INR 3.5 LPA in 20221 to INR 3.65 LPA in 2022. Many new recruiters are getting on-board for the placement drive at VTU each year.

As per the NIRF Ranking of 2023, VTU was ranked at #95 position for management category. This makes the management department of VTU, the sixth best in all over Karnataka. In 2022, NIRF ranking for VTU MBA was #76. NIRF is a renowned ranking agency that judges an educational institution based on a variety of parameters including Teaching, Learning, Research, Outcomes and inclusivity.

The course fees for MBA programmes at VTU range between INR 11,700 to INR 7 lakhs. The mentioned fee is taken from the official website/sanctioning body. It is still subject to changes and hence, is indicative. Factors like the choice of course/specialisation, reservation category etc. determine the final amount payable by an applicant. Additionally, the applicants will also have to pay the application fee for the entrance exam they are appearing for.
