I know that your life will be doomed in Ramaiah Institute of Management studies. Please don't fall into the trap.
Nothing is good about this MBA College.
MS Ramaiah is a very good college.
RIMS just uses the same brand name, that is all.
Most people think that MS Ramaiah and RIMS is the same.
But, it is not the truth .
RIMS is way out of the main campus , and is under MS Ramaiah foundation. They promise good placement, but none of their promise are met at the end.
Same is for Ramaiah Institute of Business Studies (RIBS ) and Ramaiah Institute of Legal Studies (RILS)
These are not the same as MS Ramaiah.
They lie about the placement and everythi

The rules for changing the college vary according to university rules from time to time. So, we would suggest you to inquire from the concerned colleges and its authorities.

College change or university change after the first year is completely dependent on the college and university norms, some university allow it and some won't plus you need to have good scores in the first year to apply for the same. For further details, contact the college authorities.

Hi Lohith,
As per the reference from the experienced professor, I would recommend Ambedkar College which even says that it has a really good placement opportunity.
Difference between VTU and Autonomous is:
College's coming under VTU have to follow the syllabus structure and fee structure, examinations given by the VTU's.
But in autonomous colleges, they will have their own way of syllabus division, fee, examination. At the end, you will be having a degree given by VTU.

The first year for any branch has the same science subjects, which is an extension of what you learned in Classes 11 and 12. There will also be one subject per branch, to teach you the very basics of what you will study and what everyone else from different branches will study.

If they demand you to pay the full fee then you will have to pay the whole fee. Otherwise, they won't give you the transfer certificate.
