The quality of food in the hostel mess at University B.D.T. College of Engineering, Visvesvaraya Technological University (VTU) is satisfactorily good to most students. Mess provides wide varieties of vegetarian and non-vegetarian items that cater to the taste buds and dietary requirements of different types of people. Normally, the food provided is nutritious with a balanced meal. Quality and taste, as usual in most of the hostel messes, are not of the same quality every time. Yes, Admission through COMEDK UGET or JEE Main to B.E./B.Tech courses of University B.D.T. College of Engineering -affiliated VTU. COMEDK is the entrance exam for some private engineering colleges in Karnataka and there are students getting admission on the basis of their valid scores in the JEE Main.

The fee structure for courses in University B.D.T. College of Engineering that is under the Visvesvaraya Technological University (VTU) differs according to the course and also type of the student. For instance, in regard to B.E./B.Tech courses, there is an annual tuition fee between ?50,000 and ?1,00,000, though it may be less in regard to students from reserved categories or availing scholarships. Other hostel, library, and lab facility charges may range from ?10,000 to ?30,000 in each academic year. The fee would be payable after confirming through the college website or contact with the admission department.
