Merit-based admission is used for VIT University's BCom program. As a result, the selection process is carried out using the total that qualified candidates received in their prior qualifying degree or exam. A round of virtual or in-person counselling is extended to the shortlisted individuals. Additionally, the creation of a merit list is based on the criteria determined by the VIT Vellore depending on seat availability is a prerequisite for ultimate admission to the BCom program.

Yes, admission to BTech course is based on VITEEE score. Hence, only students with a valid exam score get a seat in this course. VITEEE is a computer-based test conducted for a duration of 2 hour 30 minutes. The paper, includes five sections, namely Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Aptitude and English and, includes a total of 125 questions. To get admission in VIT Vellore for BTech, you need to appear for the VITEEE exam, which is conducted by the VIT group of institutions every year. The exam will be held between 19 and 30 April 2024 (tentatively) at various centres across India and abroad. You can apply for the exam online by visiting the official website. The last date for receipt of application is 30 March 2024.The exam will consist of 125 multiple choice questions from Maths/Biology, Physics, Chemistry, Aptitude, and English. Admission to VIT Vellore BArch programme is based on a valid NATA score. The shortlisted applicants will be called for counselling (virtual or physical) during which candidates undergo GDPI/ Skill Test. VIT Vellore prepares a final merit list on the basis of NATA scores, Class 12 aggregate and performance in GDPI/ Skill Test.

No, VIT Vellore does not offer direct admission to BArch programme based on Class 12 scores. Candidates need to possess a valid NATA score to apply. However, the final selection of students subjects to the cumulative calculation of NATA scores, Class 12 aggregate and performance in GDPI/ Skill Test.

BBA admission at VIT University is merit-based (based on aggregate obtained by eligible candidates in previous qualifying degree/ exam). The shortlisted candidates are called for a counselling (virtual or physical) round.
