The institute shortlists candidates for MBA course based on national-level entrance exams like CAT, MAT, XAT, GMAT, CMAT, NMAT or ATMA. The shortlisted aspirants are further required to come for the PI round. Vellore Institute of Technology will also consider the academic performance and work experience of the candidates for final selection. Candidates who have passed regular, full-time UG/ Integrated degree from a recognised institute/ university of at least three years of duration with a minimum of 60% aggregate (50% for SC/ ST candidates and applicants belonging to Jammu & Kashmir and North-Eastern states of Arunachal Pradesh, Assam

For B.Tech there is no direct admission. Whereas M.Tech integrated and other commerce and law courses are enabled for direct admission based on your 12th performance. But any course you opt, a minimum of 60% in your boards is required.

Hi ankita,There is NO ENTRANCE EXAMINATION
The Admission will be on the basis of the performance in the qualifying examination (10+2)
The candidates short-listed based on their merit will be called for the counseling
Candidates who have studied in Regular, Full time and Formal Education are alone eligible to apply
