Candidates willing to take admission in BTech at VIT must take the VITEEE exam, which is Vellore Institute of Technology's own entrance exam. VITEEE is a computer-based test. Selection is based on the rank secured in VITEEE.Tech admission is based on candidates' performance in the VITEEE exam, which is followed by VITEEE counselling. Admission to other courses, such as B.Sc, B.B.A, B.Sc, B.Com, and M.Sc, is based on previous qualifying exam performance. On my personal experience I would once again suggest Computer Science core or with specializations receive the first royal treatment in terms of difficulty and placements. They are the ones looting the highest package every year. This year two students from Computer Science Core grabbed a whooping offer of Rs. 1.02cr LPA. I would rank the best courses in VIT as follows
