It is difficult to predict your chances of getting admission to Computer Science Engineering (CSE) at Vellore Institute of Technology (VIT) based solely on your rank. Admissions to VIT are highly competitive, and the cutoff rank for CSE varies depending on several factors such as the number of applicants, the difficulty level of the entrance exam, and the number of available seats. That being said, the rank for CSE at VIT Vellore was around 8000-10000. Therefore, it seems unlikely that you will be able to secure a seat in CSE at VIT Vellore with a rank of 39304. However, you may have a chance of getting admission in VIT.

VITEEE 2023 Mock test is available on VITEEE Mock-test 2023 website. You can attempt this after entering your login id and DOB. There is no specific timings for preparation of VITEEE you can set your own timings but spend at least 8-10 hrs. Daily in preparation.

NIRF ranking depends on a lot of factors, you can not solely depend on NIRF ranking while choosing a college NIRF depends upon - Teaching, Infrastructure, Placements, Research opportunity. But you should SEE what your priorities are and what course are you going to pursue there, but BITS is far better than VIT in ALL RESPECTS if you are getting BIT's must go for it. Great infrastructure, Placements, Brand value on top.

You can apply but not for VIT Vellore you will not get any branch in vit Vellore but you may get chemical or mechanical in vit Andra Pradesh or in VIT Bhopal.

It is true that you have achieved an acceptable rank, but it would not be enough to obtain a joint M.Tech spot in software engineering for category 1 at Vellore division of VIT. You could potentially acquire it under tier two, but chance are scarce since places are meager and the aforementioned course is the most desired pick in a combined curriculum.

Category 1 is 6000 to 7000
Category 2 or 3 or 4 is 28000 to 32000
As categories increase your fees also increases so be wary of the same and as your rank is not under this Category and so you are unable to get CSE in Vellore.

You have got a descent rank but it would not be sufficient to fetch you a integrated M.Tech seat in software engineering under category 1 at Vellore campus of VIT. You can possibly get it in second category but chances of it are slim as seats are limited and mentioned course is most common choice in integrated programme. The best possible options are:
Integrated CSE at Vellore (1 or2)
Integrated CSE with specialisation in Data Science at Vellore (Category 1 most probably else in second category)
Integrated CSE at Chennai (category 1)
Integrated CSE with specialisation in business system at Chennai (Category 1)

Vellore Institute of Technology is a private deemed university. VIT University conducts the VIT Engineering Entrance Exam VITEEE for admission into the B.Tech programmes at the VIT Vellore, VIT Chennai, VIT-Andhra Pradesh, and VIT Bhopal campuses. It has recently declared results for VIT 2022 in July, and eligible candidates are called for the counseling process. In response to your question, there is no cutoff for B.Tech programs; however, different campuses issue closing ranks. Dear student, Vellore Institute of Technology is a private deemed university with rank 9 under the "Engineering" category (NIRF). It offers a 5-year integrated postgraduate programme (M.Tech. In software engineering). As of now, there is no entrance exam-based criteria for this particular course. To be eligible, you must have passed the Higher Secondary Examination conducted by the State or Central Board of Secondary Education or its equivalent examination with a 65% aggregate in Physics Chemistry and Mathematics (PCM). It does have a merit-based fee structure as follows:
