In my opinion, the best college in placements for CSE is Chandigarh University. Actually, Chandigarh University is best in overall development of the students. Chandigarh University is best in Ranking, Placements, infrastructure, international collaborations, research and patent filling. I can't say about any of the colleges or universities about the ECE programme, but if I speak about LPU, then LPUi is a good choice to do complete the degree in ECE as the School of Electronics and Electrical Engineering in LPU offers many opportunities to all the student of this department. My one friend is also studied at SEEE and completed his ECE with a specialisation in Digital Signal Processing. Yes, You have got a good percentiles. However with this score, it might be difficult to get VIT Pune in the very first round. Still apply and wait until the results of last rounds are announced. You might get it then. It also depends on the Branch of interest. Computer would be difficult, but you can think of ELEX/ E&TC.

You do not get admitted based on your 12th grade score. You'll have to give VITEEE to get admission in VIT
