Yes, the Vellore Institute of Technology (VIT) does accept improvement exam scores for admission.The applicants who have participated in the improvement exam and secured the minimal eligibility criteria at the time of admission are considered for VITEE (VIT Engineering Entrance Examination). Including the marks of Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics / Biology in +2/ intermediate exam which should be above 60% and all other eligibility criteria.For more information or if you have any doubts, it is best to contact to the institute directly.

No way in VIT. You need to give the VITEE exam for admission; it doesn't have any relation with JEE exams. VIT admission is entrance-based for the majority of the courses. The institute conducts VITEEE for B.Tech admission, VITMEE for M.Tech, and VITREE for PhD admission. VIT University also accepts national-level entrance exams like NATA, GATE, etc.
