No, there is no direct admission to any VIT campus. However, you can get direct admission to VIT Vellore through the Vellore Institute of Technology Engineering Entrance Examination (VITEEE). The VITEEE is an entrance exam that is held every year.  The exam is mandatory for all candidates who wish to join the B.Tech program.  The exam is held at specific locations throughout India and abroad. The test lasts for 2 hours and 30 minutes.  The 2023 VITEEE was held between April 15 and April 21. The tentative dates for the 2023 management quota were: Last date to apply: March 30, 2023Examination date: June 18–26, 2023Counseling date: Second week of July 2023Class commencement: Second week of August 2023The 2024 VITEEE applications are open for B.Tech 2024–25 admissions. The subjects are: Physics, Chemistry, English, Aptitude.
