VITEEE Eligibility

For a general candidate who is seeking NITs (National Institutes of Technology) admission after scoring less than 75% in class 12, it becomes a little tough because of the criteria as well as competition. For admission through JEE Main, candidates need to fulfill certain academic requirements:1. JEE Main Eligibility: The candidate must have scored at least 75% in the Intermediate exam or must be within the top 20 percentile of that board. But even the students may score below 75% they can appear for JEE Main but it may not be easy for the candidates to get into top NITs of the country.2. JEE Main Rank: Your rank in this JEE Main exam will be vital in the process. The percentage in Class 12 is normally low, but a good rank can make up for this difference, though cutoffs differ with the different NITs.3. Reservation: It would rather have a broader cutoff, for instance, 70% for candidates from the reserved category.

Undergraduate Admissions:
Eligibility Criteria: Candidates must have passed 10+2 or equivalent examination from a recognised board with Physics Chemistry and Mathematics/Biology as the core subjects. Entrance Exam: Candidates have to appear for the VIT Engineering Entrance Exam VITEEE conducted by the university. The exam is typically conducted in the month of April every year. Direct Admission: Candidates with a rank of 1-100 in JEE Main or a rank of 1-50 in JEE Advanced are eligible for direct admission to the university without appearing for the VITEEE.
Postgraduate Admissions:
Eligibility Criteria: Candidates must have a Bachelor's degree in the relevant field from a recognised university. Entrance Exam: Admission to most postgraduate programs is based on the candidate's performance in the VITMEE (VIT Master's Entrance Exam), which is conducted by the university.
Direct Admission: Candidates with a valid GATE score are eligible for direct admission to the university without appearing for the VITMEE.
