Well, it's really tough to predict the marks needed to get under 10k rank in VITEEE examination because marks is not being shown up by the university, however as per the past experiences if you correct more than 70 questions then your rank will be under 10K.
All the best.

Yes, you will definitely get EC branch in VIT Chennai and even you can get CSE core in VIT Vellore.

The starting top 6-7 NIT are definitely better than VIT but if you get to choose between rest of the NITs and VIT choose VIT. Make sure you choose VIT, Vellore and not any other if you also want to enjoy the college life because the placement and all are same for each branch but the campus life you have in Vellore can't be compared to any other campus.
Coming to get a good score, just keep your basics clear the paper for VITEEE is easier than Mains.

No, there is no negative marking in VITEEE.
This is one of the competitive exams in India and so it is necessary to have a good rank.
It is not that tough but however, you need to practice more and more. Completely follow the syllabus and cover it before the exams.
Learn the concepts clearly and then practice many problems. Try to get a rank below 5000.
All the best!

Only a few chapters will be from your 1st year intermediate while most of the chapters are from the second year only.

You may practice the previous year papers of VITEEE and COMEDK as they give you an idea of how the questions are being asked. You also need to have a grip in the concepts and you need to have almost all the formulae in your fingertips.

There is no reevaluation in VITEEE exam. There is only one evaluation and it is finalised. The scores will not be displayed and you can know your ranks only.
With that, whichever course or branch you can get, that's it.
