Well, frankly speaking, this is really tough to predict VITEEE score vs rank and if any one does, its going to be hypothetical. But, if you want to take mechanical engineering there in category 1, then your rank must be around 15000.

Hello,
VIT takes admission on the basis of rank given in the exams through your score, so wait for your result, then your rank will decide that you are getting VIT for CS or not
Previous year closing rank for VIT is 7000, so if your rank is below 7000, then you can get admission.

VITEEE Cutoff 2017 is not declared by VIT University. However, the VITEEE 2017 cutoff can be considered as the closing rank for admission to different branches of undergraduate engineering programmes.
The rank list of VITEEE 2017 will be based on the candidates percentile score. Undergraduate engineering seats at both the campuses of VIT University are offered on the basis of their percentile merit. Examinees in the top merit (from 1 to 20,000) are called for participating in counselling on different days in the first phase of counselling. Hello Akash, cut off was 19000 last year for mechanical engineering. However, every year it varies. My advice would be to not worry about this. But get going about preparing for the entrance exam. Best wishes.
