BITS Pilani (Pilani Campus) is almost equal and better then even legacy IITs in few engineering branches. It is definitely a better option in comparison to VIT.

It is expected that application forms will be available online by the middle of November 2016. This can be filled only through website of each of these institutes.

The best lot for exam as well as for any event in life is always now. By second week of November, online application form will be available. You can fill it as soon as it's made available.

No virtual calculator is available while giving VITEEE.

The classes have already been started for the academic year 2016-17. You can aim for 2017-18 intake. Usually, the application for VITEEE will be available in the month of January/February

You just need to keep your basics clear and try as much questions as possible. You can solve problems from question booklets available in market for Made Easy and Career Launcher.

Almost all of these entrance exams are conducted with aim of testing student's ability of logical thinking and knowledge of fundamentals of science. I would therefore advise you to stick to brushing up your basics. Besides, you will have to learn to answer in stipulated time. There are practice papers available, you can try these. But, get answers vetted by your professors.
