The authorities will prepare the VITEEE cutoff to select candidates for admissions into the various courses offered by the campuses of VIT. Different factors related to the entrance examination will be considered while preparing the VITEEE cutoff. Some of the important factors considered while preparing the cutoff are difficulty level of exam, previous year trends, number of applicants, total number of seats, etc. VIT cutoff will be different for every course, campus and category.

The equating methodology will be used by the authorities to provide equal opportunities for all the candidates who appeared in the VITEEE. Since the examination will be held in different slots, the methodology will be used to maintain fairness and equality while the marks and ranks are being allotted. This methodology helps to maintain the same level while preparing the VITEEE result, despite that the fact that the candidates will different slots, that may have different levels of paper difficulty. Therefore, the authorities balance the scores of all candidates by considering various factors.

Candidates are advised to carefully check the VITEEE result before downloading it. In case of any mistakes in the information provided in the VIT result, the candidates are advised to immediately contact the authorities. However, it is to be noted that the authorities will not accept requests for review of scores. The ranks and scores mentioned in the result will be final and the authorities will not entertain any requests for its change.

While attempting the VITEEE mock test, the candidates will have the option to answer a question and mark it for review. The question can also be left unanswered and marked for review. If the candidates answer the question and mark it for review, then it will be displayed in blue colour with a tag in the question palette. However, if the question is unanswered and marked for review, then it will be displayed in orange colour. Candidates will able to use the mark for review feature in the VITEEE mock test to mark those questions that they are unsure about and wish to check again after completing the other questions in the examination.

Yes. Candidates will be able to skip questions while attempting the VITEEE mock test. The skipped questions will be marked white in the question palette of the mock test. Candidates will be able to return to the skipped questions and attempt it later during the exam. However, the questions have to be answered within the allotted examination duration. Since there is no negative marking, the candidates are advised to attempt as many questions as they can to have a higher chance of securing good marks for admissions.

Yes. The authorities are expected to release the VITEEE 2025 mock test. Candidates will be able to access the VITEEE mock test 2025 link online at vit.ac.in. Through the mock test of VIT 2025, the candidates will be able to prepare for the upcoming entrance exam. Before accessing the mock test, the candidates were advised to carefully read all of the instructions and guidelines. It was important for the candidates to attempt the mock test, since it helped them to become familiar with the entrance examination pattern.

Yes. During the VITEEE mock test, the candidates will be able to navigate the sections. The candidates will be able to navigate to any sections using the section tab available on the top of the screen. There is no limitation to the number of times a candidate can use the tab to navigate into different sections. While attempting the examination, the candidates are advised to complete the sections which are easier before advancing to the difficult ones. This will allow the candidates to spend more time on the difficult sections and questions.

Candidates are advised to check and understand some important navigational guidelines of VITEEE mock test before attempting it. In the mock test, out of the four options provided for each question, the candidates will have to choose the correct one. Click on Next to move to the next question. Similarly, click on Previous to go to the previous ones. Candidates will be able to bookmark any number of questions by clicking on the Mark button. In the VIT mock test, the candidates will be able to see the question palette where the various colours will represent the status of the corresponding question. If the question number is green, then it means that the concerned question is already answered. While attempting the examination, the candidates are advised to carefully check the question palette. Candidates will be able to check the status of the questions and which are the ones left unanswered through the question palette.

The mock test of VITEEE will be a replica of the entrance examination. Therefore, the total duration of the VIT mock test will be 2 hours 30 minutes. Candidates will have to complete the mock test within the allotted time. After the duration is over, the test will be automatically submitted. No extra time will be provided to the candidates. Using the mock test, the candidates can practice time management and learn how to utilize the allotted time correctly to finish the examination within the duration of the examination.
