Applicants may apply for admission to VIT Vellore and Chennai for the B.Tech programme if they have achieved a rank of up to one lac. The authorities determine the dates for counselling for various positions. The only universities that will accept applicants with ranks higher than one lac are VIT Bhopal and VIT Andhra Pradesh. They won't be qualified for admission to VIT Vellore or Chennai.

No, a candidate will not be guaranteed admission in VIT he /she clears the VIT cut off. The admission is based on not just on the cut off, but the category in which the candidate falls, difficulty level of the examination, the number of applicants who have registered themselves for the examination and the previous year trends for the cut off as well. So yes, it is safe to say that only clearing the cut off will not guarantee or admission in VIT, however scuring above the cutoff will increase your chances in doing so.

The VITEEE (Vellore Institute of Technology Engineering Entrance Examination) is considered to have a moderate to high difficulty level. It is designed to test the aptitude of candidates in subjects like Mathematics/Biology, Physics, and Chemistry, similar to the JEE Main but slightly easier. The exam format is objective, with no negative marking, which can encourage attempts on all questions. High competition for limited seats makes the preparation challenging. The syllabus aligns with the Class 12 CBSE and state board curriculums. VITEEE fees, for registration, are typically around INR 1,250 for online applications and INR 1,250 for

Counselling may be impacted if you have passed MET and VITEEE but your 12th grade report has not yet been released. However, based on entrance exam results, the majority of universities provide temporary admission. Notify the counselling authorities of the postponement and submit a letter from your school or a provisional certificate. Most colleges give students a grace time to turn in their documents. If you want to turn in your marksheet later, you might have to sign an undertaking. Keep the admissions departments at VIT and Manipal University informed and heed their advice by staying in touch with them.

The VITEEE is not the only factor considered for admission to VIT (Vellore). For BTech admissions, the Vellore Institute of Technology administers the VITEEE; however, for MBA programmes, it also takes into account national entrance tests like as CAT, XAT, MAT, GMAT, CMAT, ATMA, etc. In addition, admission to other programmes like BCA, BCom, MSc, MCA, BSc, BSc (Hons), and others is determined by the cumulative score on prior qualifying examinations or degrees (merit-based).
