Yes, you may get CSE core because CSE core seats are full till rank 7000 but you will get CSE with specialisation but in my opinion, it is better to take IT branch because syllabus are same and placement wise also CSE core and IT branch both are beneficial. Let me explain you the admission system here. Rank in VIT to get admission should be 90,000, so you can get admission in VIT from the 6th category as well. There are various categories as well. With each category admission, fees go high. First category closed till 15,000 rank, and you can get CSE till 9000 rank and IT till 11000 rank, but there are 2nd category as well, if you want CSE, but you have to pay more for that. But if you want branch in first category in this, much rank then u will get civil, electronics. You will not get Chennai in first categroy but maybe in sixth category with this much rank and your fees will be around 5.

Board marks are nothing to do with VIT admission but you have to eligible for it atleast 60% in physics, chemistry, maths in intermediate. Yes you will get your desired branch but that to in a higher category (I. e you have to pay more fees to take the admission). Hope this helps. Hello,
This is the newest campus of VIT and last year students got CSE below 1 Lacs rank easily and I think its not better option to take admission in Bhopal campus because fees structure similar to vit Vellore and Chennai campus somewhat. And its infrastructure not fully completed and still its under development
If you think to take admission in VIT, then you should refer Vellore or Chennai campus now and if you are not getting this campus, then you should try other university or college. Sorry to say, the chances are almost zero but you can get CSE in Vellore if you go through management quota but remember if you go through management quota, you need to pay around 25-30 Lacs in 4 years to complete your B.Tech.

The fees may depend upon college. The average college fees will be below INR 5 lacs (4years) and above that private colleges fees can vary from INR 5 to INR 20 lacs also.
