VESIT is a popular engineering college in Mumbai, The curriculum is designed to prepare students for careers in engineering by developing the skills and knowledge needed in the industry.Many faculty members have master's or Ph.D. Reputed companies offer packages ranging from INR 3 LPA to INR 17.75 LPA, and almost 80% of students get placed. Some of the top recruiting companies include Accenture, Capgemini, LTI, JP Morgan, Quantiphi, and TCS.

If you meet the eligibility requirements for the B.E/B.Tech  of the institute then that is the selection criteria. The minimum requirement is 10th, and 12th should pass with a minimum 45% . This is the basic criteria. You must have decent marks in JEE exam.

The fees range for courses offered by VESIT  depends on the program, the course , the duration.  VISET offers various courses like BTECH, Mtech  MCc., for BTECH the fee is around 3 Lacs to 4.5 lakh, for M.Tech 80k is the tuition fee, for MCC it's 1.6 Lacs as the tuition fee.The fees mentioned above may have change yearly , by this you can get a idea around the range of fee

The eligibility criteria for admission to VESIT is 45% in 10+2 and passing the JEE Main or MHT CET. And the fee for B.Tech is around INR 3.3 Lacs to INR 4.5 Lacs, there will be a slight change increase and decrease between this range  based on the course CS, IT.

The hostel charge for VISET ,for accommodation based on the choice (capacity) will be around INR 1 Lakh to 1.20 Lakh for 1 year . Other than this, INR 5000 needs to be paid as a caution deposit which you will get refunded when you graduate.  INR 80000 is the mess fee for the year. This is the 2023-2024 fee structure, so in the future it may vary a bit.

To get admission in VESIT fir  UG and PG courses, you must meet the  eligibility requirements of college . For B.E./B.Tech you must have a minimum of 45% in 10+2 and a valid score in JEE Main , for MCA you must have a minimum of 50% in graduation and a valid score in MAH MCA CCET, for M.E./M.Tech you must have a minimum of 50% in graduation and a valid score in GATE or MHT CET. For the Executive PGDM  a minimum of 50% in a relevant bachelor's degree from a recognised university. and also need to perform well in exams like MH-CET, CAT, GMAT, CMAT, XAT, ATMA, or MAT. The eligibility criteria for BE/B.Tech is students must have passed in the Higher Secondary Examination with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics ( compulsory subjects.) With minimum 45%, you can get admission through entrance exams like JEE, other than this students belonging to the State of Maharashtra are required to secure a valid score in the State Common Entrance Test.

Getting admission to Vivekanand Education Societys Institute of Technology can be considered hard because:Major admissions are done through entrance exams like MHT CET and JEE . For admissions via state quota seats candidates need to clear MHT CET and register on the website portal before the counselling process begins. Admissions into All india Quota Seats is done through JEE Mains scores and JoSSA or CSAB conducts counselling for the same depending on the round. In 2023, MHT CET cutoff for computer engineering was 98.17 and JEE Main cutoff for computer Engineering through AIQ seats was 2638.

The best course offered by Vivekanand Education Societys Institute of Technology is the BTech course. The college offers seven specialisations in BTech. The highest package offered at the college till now is INR 15 LPA and the average package is around INR 6.5 LPA. The labs are well equipped, with all the systems in working condition.

Vivekanand Education Society's Institute of Technology (VESIT) is a private institute established in 1984. It is located at Chembur, Mumbai. VESIT is selected as one of "India's 10 Best intitutes for Higher Education 2019" by the Excelligent. It offers specializations in engineering courses at UG and PG levels. The highest package offered at VESIT was INR 14.5 LPA. NIRF India Rankings 2021 in the RANK-BAND of 251-300 (Engineering). The college has 1st RANK in Maharastra State in Education World Private Engineering Institutes in 2020, 2019, 2018.
