The best way to commute from Kamothe to Vivekananda Education Society College of Arts, Science and Commerce in Chembur is by train and bus. Here are the steps to follow:
Take a local train from Kamothe station to Kurla station. Vivekananda College was established in 1950 in Thakurpukur, Kolkata. Vivekananda College Thakurpukur offers UG courses like B.A, B.Sc and B.Com (Hons. and general).The minimum eligibility for admission in UG courses 10+2 in relevant stream with at least 50% aggregate marks is required. The cut off can be round to 87-92 percentile for general and for SC ST, it can be round off to 80-88 percentile.

Yes, I would suggest you switch to B.Com (Hons). in Vivekanand. Always prefer course over the college. I have seen many times that students sacrifice with their course preference just for the sake of college name and reputation and regret it later. B.Com (Hons). has greater value than B.Com Programme moreover, Vivekanand is a quite decent college. I have also faced the same situation while I was looking for my admission in DU and I am pretty satisfied with my decision now so go for B.Com (Hons).
