All the facuty members at  Vydehi Institute of Medical Sciences and Research Centre are highly qualified and experienced who are completely dedicated to the students. The faculty members include doctore wit postgraduate degrees like MDs and DNBs. Many faculty members are also involved in research activities as per their domain of interest. So the overall faculty is highly qualified and experienced.

As of 2024, the cutt off for NEET PG was 16,614 (radiotherapy), 14,032 (MD TB and respiratory medicine) and 27,522 (MS ENT), 12,072 (MS General).The overall closing rank for MD course in the second round ranged from 4,336-40,798.For NEET UG the category wise cutt off was:720-137 (UR/EWS)136-107 (OBC, SC/ST).

Yes, the admissions are open!For NEET PG, seat allotment results were realeased on 21January, 2025.For NEET UG 2025, the expected date for the exam is on 4May, 2025For NEET SS, the exam will be on 29 and 30 March, 2025 for DM and MCh courses respectively.For KCET, the exams for BE/BTech will be on 18April 2025 and for BPharma, it will be on 19 April 2025

The institute tries to provide the best quality food to students while maintaining proper hygine. However, the food lacks variety and consists of repetitive food options. So the overall experience of the students eating at mess is average.

The institute provides around 90-95% placement assurance once the students clear their exams and an assured intenship for 12 months. Also the institute offers 250 seats anually for the MBBS courses which ensures one on one focus on students.

The candidate must be 17 years old and should have passed the class 10+2 with the subject physics, chemistry and biology. For a general category student, the marks aggregate must be a minimum of 50% in PCB and for the students of reserved categories (ST/SC/OBC), students must have a minimum aggregate of 40% in their PCB subjects. Also, the candidate must have appeared for and qualified the NEET exam. At the end, candidate can simply appear for the counselling process conducted by Karnataka Examination Authority and should complete all the necessary admission formalities as per declared by the institute.

At Vydehi Institute of Medical Sciences and Research Centre, the eligibility criteria for the candidates seeking admission must meet the course-specific eligibility and selection requirements. Admissions to MBBS at the undergraduate level is based on NEET UG score. Also, candidates must have passed 10+2 in physics, chemistry and biology with an aggregate of 50% Marks. There are only 250 seats for MBBS in VIMS.

Yes, one can get admission to Vydehi Institute of Medical Sciences and Research Centre through Management quota. For getting admission through management quota register for councelling through MCC or state authorities.The following criteria to get into this college is as follows: 10+2 with atleast 50% aggregate marks with subjects like Chemistry, Biology, Physics and English. NEET score if exam given.
