With an OBC rank of 31105, you have a good chance of getting admission to a lower-ranked NIT. Some of the NITs that you may be eligible for include:NIT PatnaNIT UttarakhandNIT DurgapurNIT JamshedpurNIT HamirpurNIT Arunachal PradeshNIT MeghalayaNIT SrinagarHowever, it is important to note that the cutoff for NITs varies every year, so it is not possible to say for sure which NIT you will get with your current rank. You should also consider your preferences for branches and location when choosing which NITs to apply for.

Yes, you have high chances to get NITs for CSE but for IITs you have to qualify JEE Advanced with sufficient marks and rank.

Hello Bhupendra Nandlal, your son has ranking of 16403 under SC category, but total seats under all NIT's under this category is about 7500. So you can guess for yourself as to where your son stands. I would like to advise you to ask your son to prepare afresh and get ranking better than 7500 so that he can get admission. Best wishes to you.

Hello Siddharth, if I may say so it's quite difficult to get admission under ST quota with category rank of around 9000 since total reserved seats under this category in all NIT'S put together is about 3750. In view of this, you can ask her to take a break of one year and prepare exclusively for this exam and then seek admission in next academic session. Best wishes to you.

Hello Garima Agrawal, let me give you information. In all NIT'S put together, there are only 25000 seats. So, you can guess for yourself chances of your daughter. However, do not get worried. Now in current cycle of admission, she can once again appear for birth sessions of JEE Mains examination being conducted by NTA and should score ranking well within 25000 to get branch and NIT of her choice. Best wishes to you.

Hello Aaradhya Singh, there are approximately 25 thousand seats spread across all NIT's. Considering that those who score better will do better in other exams including JEE Advanced students with even lesser ranking than yours will get admission. However, I would like to urge you to wait till May of this year. By then NTA will announce actual results and you need not keep guessing as to your rank. At that time, you can download the college predictor released in the market by different agencies and it will guess for you the probable branch and college. Best wishes to you.
