Hello, firstly let me congratulate you for obtaining such a good ranking of around 80K from almost 10L students. Yes, you will definitely get admission in NIT based on this ranking but for seeking admission in IIT, you need to appear for JEE Advanced exam. Best wishes to you.

Hello Soumya Kukkala, NTA is scheduled to conduct it's two Sets of examination for JEE Mains in Jan 23 and Apr 23. After this only, NTA will announce fresh Sets of ranking for all catagories based on which only admission will be given for academic year 23-24. I would urge you to have patience till May 23. By then many things will get clear and also college predictors will be published which will enable one to guess Probability of admission. Best wishes to you.

I am afraid your 76 percentile is quite low to get admission in any NIT and especially in CS branch. If one understands the percentile, then it is clear that 24% of almost 13 Lacs students are above you. But then there could be some dynamics in admission process which may enable you to get admission somewhere. No, this is not possible.

With the options available we have to make a choice either to go into top 5 NITs which include NIT Trichy, NIT Warangal, NIT Surathkal, NIT Allahabad, NIT Surat or take Computer Science Engineering in one of the rest NITs.
