Hello Revanth Kumar, let me inform you that out of total seats of 25K in all NIT's put together, reserved seats for ST's would be about 2000. Your ranking under this catagory is 15K and hence you can guess your chances. The NIT cutoff is very High so you are not eligible candidate at NIT studies but you must try in other engineering college for your education they also give you best placement and education related to your course. So you must try in other colleges and universities for your education.

You can't predict the cutoff that easily, at 10000, there would have been odds in favour of you but at 18000, it is a no. It is CSE one of the most sought-after Branch and that too in such a reputed institute. You can get CSE in new colleges at this rank. JoSAA won't be making a large difference in the cutoffs, I feel that cutoffs may just improve.

I am writing here only for Open category GN students
With this percentile, you cannot get CSE branch in NIT Trichy, NIT Warangal, NIT Surathkol, MNNIT Allahabad and NIT Jaipur (in case of both HS and OS). You can get CSE in NIT Rourkela, NIT KKR and NIT Calicut if you have state domicile (HS), but OS cutoffs are generally high (99.5+) to get CSE in these colleges. You can easily get CSE in NIT Jamshedpur, NIT Durgapur, IIEST Shibpur, NIT Hamirpur and NIT Jalandhar (in case of both HS and OS).

175 isn't a good score if you want CSE in top colleges. You surely need 200+ and much precisely 220 because there is no board percentage. So this time we can't say what's gonna happen. Everything will be changed. By this year's JEE Main we can predict next year results. So if you really wish to be in a top college and CSE then Bro 220 is needed. I can simply give one tip to you. Know how to pick your answers. AJEE Main paper will be moderate. Expect 11 easy questions 12 to 14 moderate and 5 hard. Leave 5 hard but solve easy and moderate surely.
