The candidates should note that the WBCS is a competitive exam and the candidates will be required to score as much as they can in order to clear the WBCS exam. There is no qualifying mars assigned for the candidates to clear the exam. The selection of the candidates depend on the WBCS cutoff for their category and their marks in the main (written) and the personality test.The candidates are required to breach the cutoff of the Mains exam and the final cutoff to get selected in the final merit list.
