May be, it will be valid depending upon counselor. Some of the counselors understand some couldn't. But, you must be prepared with the OBC certificate published by WBJEE board for not being disturbed at the time of counseling.

You have to go to the reporting center for further process of document verification and acceptance of seat. Otherwise, your seat will not remain locked.

Dear,
So far my knowledge goes, as you have rank card of WBJEE and you failed to turn up in WBJEE counselling, you have only chance left and that is trying for Management Quota seat if available in Private Engineering Colleges for pursuing B.Tech.
Best wishes.

If you are unable to produce your category certificates, then you may not able to utilize your category benefits, and you are treated as general category student.

I'm sorry to say but its placement is in a very poor condition. People in the electrical department didn't get placed well this year. Only a few got placed.

Hello Ahan,
It's totally unpredictable. It all depends on acceptance of branch/college by the students still in the fray. But many a times, one gets the branch they desire.

Hi,
UIT Burdwan used to be a very good college from 2000 to 2014. After that, the quality has degraded. The placement is maximum for CSE students but in that also, only 50% students get placed. The placement for electrical engineering is also poor. But you will get good internship opportunities in the government sector.
