Tution Fee Waiver (TFW) category seats are reserved for those candidates for economically backward students who have a good academic record. 5% TFW seats, which are supernumerary in nature will be available for admissions into the WBJEE 2024 participating institutes. The TFW rank in various institutes will be considered for admissions. WBJEEB will announce the details regarding the TFW category reservations, once the application and admission process commences.

To download the WBJEE counselling letter, the candidates will have to log in using the required credentials. In case, the candidates have trouble accessing and downloading the counselling letter, then they can try to log out and then log in again. If the problem still persists, the candidates are advised to check their internet connection for any issues. If there is no internet connectivity issues, then the candidates are advised to immediately contact the authorities to fix the problem.

No. The candidates will not be allowed to change the date and time of WBJEE counselling. Since the counselling dates will be pre-determined by the authorities, they will not accept any requests to change the WBJEE counselling dates and slots. WBJEE counselling will be held online for all eligible candidates. The authorities will also announce the WBJEE seat allotment online. However, the candidates will have to confirm their admissions physically at the allotted institutes.

The authorities of the West Bengal Joint Entrance Examinations Board (WBJEEB) will be responsible for the WBJEE counselling process. The details regarding how the WBJEE counselling will be held will be announced by the authorites on the official website. WBJEE counselling will be held online for all qualified candidates. Allotment of seats will be done based on the candidate's obtained WBJEE rank, preferences and seat availability. JEE Main scores will also be taken into consideration for seat allotment.

Yes. Candidates who have participated in the previous rounds of WBJEE counselling will have to pay an additional fee of INR 200. However, for fresh registration, the candidates will have to pay a counselling fee of INR 1,000. The WBJEE counselling fee has to be paid online i.e., through net banking/credit card/debit card. If the candidates fail to pay the fee before the final date, then they will not be registered for the counselling process.

Yes, you can directly enter round 2.Step 1: Go to the official website of WBJEEB, wbjeeb.nic.in.Step 2: Click on the "WBJEE Counselling 2023" tab.Step 3: Click on the "New Candidate Registration" button.Step 4: Enter your WBJEE/JEE Main roll number, application form number, candidate name, date of birth, and security pinRegistration is mandatory for counselling and admission. A non-registered candidate will NOT be allotted any seat in any round under any circumstances. Registration is allowed only at the beginning of 1st round.

Yes. Candidates will be allowed to freshly register for the mop-up round of WBJEE counselling. After the completion of the first two WBJEE counselling rounds, the candidates will be able to register for the mop-up round online. For fresh registrations, INR 1000 has to be paid. Other candidates will have to pay a fee of INR 200 online to be registered for the mop-up round. Already registered candidates will also be able to edit/modify their previously filled choices. The process has to be completed before the final date, that will be announced online by the authorities.

WBJEE Rank - GMR (General Merit Rank)Counselling/allotment of seats/admission will be done basis the GRM WBJEE Rank only.Tech colleges located across the state of West Bengal. Since the number of participants of the WBJEE exam exceeds one Lacs every year, 10,000-25,000 can be considered to be a good rank in the entrance exam.However, if the rank of the candidate exceeds 30,000, the chances of securing admission in Round 2 counselling are high. There are many WBJEE participating colleges that offer admission to students whose ranks fall between 25,000 to 50,0000.

According to WBJEE Eligibility 2024, candidates must have passed Class 12th with minimum 45% marks or equivalent qualification examination. However, a student appearing for Class 12th examination in 2021 can also appear for WJEE 2024.Students who are allotted seats after each round of WBJEE counselling need to pay the acceptance fees. The payment of the acceptance fee will be accepted in the online mode only. Candidates have to make the payment of Rs. 5000/- as WBJEE seat acceptance fee.The candidates are not allotted during the first round of WBJEE 2023 counselling, then they can participate in the second round. The authorities have not yet announcement the class commencement date for the qualified WBJEE 2025 candidates. However, the candidates can expect it to be announced soon. After the counselling and seat allotment is over, the candidates will be required to report to the allotted college for the commencement of classes. If the candidates have not confirmed their admission by paying the fee and verifying their documents before the final date, then their allotment will be disqualified.
