Yes, you are eligible in jadavpur university and you can apply for WBJEE to pursue BE in Chemical Engineer from Jadavpur University. Student from any state in India can apply for WBJEE. You just need a domicile certificate which claims reservations for government institutions. There is also an eligibility criteria where you have to pass class 12 with physics, chemistry and mathematics as these are the compulsory subjects.

The eligibility criteria for the WBJEE exam:A minimum score is required to appear for WBJEE exam. Students who have cleared 10+2 with 45% in aggregate in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics and other major subjects.General category candidates should have scored an aggregate of 45% in the three compulsory subjects in the 10+2th (or equivalent) examination. As per WBJEE qualifying marks, reserved category candidates should have secured an aggregate of 40%. Should have also qualified in English with minimum.

The WBJEE JELET eligibility criteria is:Candidates must hold a Diploma in Engineering/ Technology with a minimum of 45% marks (SC, ST, OBC-A, OBC-B, and PwD candidates need 40%) or equivalent CGPA.WBJEE JELET 2023 Educational Qualification:The candidates must have passed the 10+2 examination with Mathematics as a mandatory subject.The B.Sc candidates will be considered only after the seats are filled by the Diploma holders in Engineering/ Technology.The overall cutoff for JELET is 1513 - 10132 rank.

All candidates will be requied to comply with the WBJEE eligibility criteria. The official eligibility criteria will be prepared and released online by the authorities of WBJEEB. For admissions into the participating colleges of the state, the candidates will be required to meet the minimum eligibility criteria. Candidates, who do not meet the minimum eligibility requirements, will not be allowed to appear for the entrance exam and their applications will be cancelled by WBJEEB.

WBJEE 2023 Eligibility Criteria:
1- Nationality: The student must be an Indian citizen
2- Age restriction: Students must be at least 17 years of age (as of December 31, 2023) to appear for the exam or be born on or before December 31, 2007. There is no upper age limit for appearing in the exam.
