No. The candidates are no longer required to prepare the Aptitude section for WBJEE JECA. The authorities have revised the WBJEE JECA syllabus and have removed the Aptitude and Mathematics section. As per the latest syllabus of WBJEE JECA, the candidates will just be required to study topics from the Undergraduate Computer Application and equivalent coursesfollowed in various Universities in India.

The authorities have recently revised the WBJEE JECA syllabus. As per the new syllabus of WBJEE JECA, the candidates will just be required to revise units and topics of the Undergraduate Computer Application and equivalent courses followed in various Universities in India. The detailed units and topics to be studied is released through the WBJEE JECA syllabus. The syllabus will be equivalent to the graduation level.

WBJEE JECA syllabus will be available online at wbjeeb.nic.in. Candidates will be able to check the detailed WBJEE JECA syllabus through the official information brochure, which will be prepared and released by the authorities at the official website. Through the syllabus, the candidates will be able to know the units and topics that they will have to prepare for the upcoming entrance examination.

WBJEE JECA paper will consist of objective multiple-choice questions. Each question will have four options, out of which the candidates will have to select the correct answer. To mark the answer, the candidates will have to colour the corresponding circle/bubble on the OMR sheet with a blue/black ink ball point pen. All of the answers have to marked carefully so that no problems arise during assessment.

Yes. According to the official exam pattern of WBJEE JECA, incorrect answers will be marked negatively by the authorities. For Category I questions, 1/4th mark will be deducted in case of incorrect responses. However, there is no negative marking for Category II questions. Since there is negative marking in Category I, the candidates are advised to be careful while answering the questions.

While preparing a personalized timetable for the WBJEE JECA preparation, the candidates are advised to check the following tips:Firstly, the time table should cover all of the syllabus before the examination date.The topics should be divided in such a manner that the studying process does not feel monotonous.Candidates should ensure that enough time is allotted for mock tests and sample papers.Candidates should include revision in the daily study routine.There should be some time allotted for extra curricular activities.Candidates should prepare the timetable as per their aptitude.

Yes. Candidates are advised to attempt mock tests to be well-prepared for WBJEE JECA. Through the mock tests, the candidates will be able to understand how the entrance examination will be conducted. Mock tests will also help the candidates to assess their current preparation progress. WBJEE JECA question paper will be divided into two categories. The Category I section will have 80 questions and every correct answer will be awarded with one mark. There in negative marking of 1/4th mark in Category I. Candidates will have to attempt 20 questions in Category II. For every correct answer in Category II section, two marks will be awarded and there in no negative marking.

According to the official marking scheme of WBJEE JECA, the candidates will be marked as per the category that the question falls in. For Category I questions, the correct answer will be awarded one mark. For every incorrect answer in Category I, 1/4th mark will be deducted by the authorities. In Category II, two marks will be given for every correct answer. There is no negative marking in Category II.
