According to the JELET syllabus, the candidates will have to study various units of Physics to be well prepared for the examination. Some of the units that the candidates will have to prepare from the JELET Physics section are - Units, dimensions, and measurement, Work, power, energy, Elasticity, Thermal expansion of solid, Laws of motion, Thermodynamics, Kinematics, Gravitation, Surface tension, Photoelectricity, Fluid mechanics/ Hydrostatics, Lens, Transmission of heat, Reflection of Light and Refraction of light.

Yes. Candidates are advised to check the official WBJEE JELET syllabus before commencing the preparation process. It is important for the candidates to know which subjects, topics and units have to be studied for the entrance examination. By knowing the syllabus beforehand, the candidates will be able to prepare and plan out their studies to perform well in the examination. Candidates also identify important topics which bear higher weightage and are likely to be present in the question paper, to boost their preparation.

While attempting WBJEE JELET, the candidates will have to answer the question on the OMR sheet by darkening the appropriate bubble marked A, B, C or D. The candidates are advised to use only black/blue ball point pen to mark the answer by completely filling up the respective bubbles. While answering the WBJEE JELET question paper, the candidates should be careful since any stray marks or damange to the OMR sheet may lead it to become invalid.

WBJEE JELET will be held in English language. The authorites will not use any other medium of language for the entrance examination. The questions will be prepared in English and the candidates will have to check the questions and mark the correct answer out of the given options in the OMR sheet. Therefore, the candidates are advised to prepare accordingly so that they are able to comfortably attempt the exam in English. In case of any problems, the candidates are advised to contact the examination invigilators.

WBJEE JELET will be held offline i.e., as a pen-and-paper-based test. Candidates will be required to visit the allotted exam centres to attempt the entrance examination. Out of the provided options in the WBJEE JELET question paper, the candidates will have to select their correct answer. The candidates will have to mark the correct option on the OMR sheet and submit it as soon as the duration of the exam is over. The authorities will not conduct WBJEE JELET in any other mode.

As per the official WBJEE JELET exam pattern, all candidates will be required to attempt the Category I and II questions. However, in Category II, the candidates will not be required to answer questions from Fundamentals of Electrical and Electronics Engineering. Category I and II will commonly consist of questions from Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry. For the questions in Category I, a correct answer will be allotted 1 mark and there will be a negative marking. Category II questions will carry 2 marks and there will be no negative marking.

According to the WBJEE JELET exam pattern, the paper consists of two categories - Category I will have 1 mark questions and Category II will have 2 mark questions. Category I will consist of questions from Mathematics (30 Questions), Physics (25 Questions), Chemistry (15 Questions) and Fundamentals of Electrical and Electronics Engineering (10 Questions). Category II will consist of Mathematics (10 Questions), Physics (5 Questions) and Chemistry (5 Questions).

The authorities will release the WBJEE JELET exam pattern online at wbjeeb.nic.in. Candidates will be able to access all details related to the entrance examination through the WBJEE JELET exam pattern. No other mode will be used by the authorities to make the WBJEE JELET exam pattern available. Through the exam pattern, the candidates will be able to understand how the exam will be held and accordingly prepare for it. As per the official exam pattern of WBJEE JELET, the authorities will conduct the exam as a pen-and-paper-based test.

Yes, you can join Vishwakarma Institute of Technology (VIT Pune) without the WBJEE JELET exam. WBJEE JELET is a West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination for lateral entry into engineering and technology programs. Since VIT Pune is located in Maharashtra and not in West Bengal, WBJEE JELET is not applicable for admission to VIT Pune.
