Calcutta University offers over ten specialisations in BTech courses, for admission to all specialisations, the university accepts the WBJEE entrance examination except for BTech in Jute and Fibre Technology: For admission into the second year of BTech coursein Jute and Fibre Technology, the candidates should qualify JELET for lateral entry and should have any one of the following degrees: BSc with Physics/ Chemistry/ Mathematics, BSc in Textile and Clothing/ B.FAD or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering/ etc.

University of Engineering and Management, Kolkata accepts WBJEE scores for admission to its BE/BTech courses. The WBJEE cutoff 2024 was concluded after the round 3 seat allotment result, wherein the last-round cutoff ranged between 8796 and 68436 for the General All India category students. You should definitely pursue B.Tech. It doesn't matter how much you scored in WBJEE but it will matter how you go ahead now so don't think about your score in WBJEE because it's just a matter of time may be your conditions during WBJEE wasn't comfortable with you.So don't worry go ahead and study well. WBJEE result date for SIT in Siliguri is same as the officially declared result date of WBJEE. Generally, WBJEE results come out in the month of June immediately after the WBJEE entrance examination, usually conducted in the month of April. On declaration of results, applicants can refer their score and ranking on the official WBJEE portal. Thereafter, the counseling will take place by the Siliguri Institute of Technology. / B.Tech admissions based on these results. The date of the WBJEE result will be revealed through the official website, wbjee or else in SIT's admissions portal.
