It is very nice to see your desire and aim of getting into Jadavpur University computer Science engineering department. It's one of the best in West Bengal and obviously many students who appear for WBJEE give this as first option and hence the cutoffs are pretty stiff. From the information that I gathered for the year 2018 rank of 1000 in OBC category would have got you admission in this course but every year is a different year hence you should aim for getting the rank of about 700 under OBC category if you want to make sure that your admission must be confirmed. Best wishes to you.

As per the present indication and information the exam is scheduled to be held on 19th of May 2019 and the application fill up will start roughly 2 months before this that. But I am sure this date is likely to change since JEE Advanced is scheduled to be held on 19th of May. I am attaching a link that will give you all the required information about this examination and all the issues concerning this. https://www-shiksha-com.cdn.ampproject.org/v/s/www.shiksha.com/b-tech/amp/wbjee-exam?amp_js_v=a2&_gsa=1&usqp=mq331AQECAFYAQ=#referrer=https://www.google.com&_tf=From %1$s&share=https://www.shiksha.com/b-tech/wbjee-e

Yes, you are on dot. General category students are required to score 45% marks while reserved category students are required to score 40% marks in their 12th exam. There are other requirements too that a candidate needs to fulfil. But I would advise you to wait few months so that exam conducting authority publishes the requirements officially. Best wishes to you.
