WBJEE

WB ANM GNM exam is conducted by West Bengal Joint Entrance Examinations Board for admission to Auxiliary Nursing & Midwifery and General Nursing & Midwifery programme. ANM is a two-year course and GNM is a 3-year course. Candidates need to appear for the entrance exam to be eligible for admission to the ANM and GNM colleges of West Bengal.

Earlier WB ANM/GNM exam was scheduled to be conducted on July 14, 2024, but later on dates are changed and now exam will be conducted on August 4, 2024 in offline mode at the designated test centres in West Bengal. Each candidates will be provided with an OMR sheet. Candidates will have to darken the responses to choose the correct answer. Once a response is marked, it cannot be edited/changed/erased/modified. The entrance exam is conducted once a year by the exam conducting body.

WB ANM GNM exam pattern is very important to understand for the candidates appearing for the exam. The exam is conducted in offline mode and the question paper takes 1 hour and 30 minutes to complete. Except for the English and logical reasoning sections, the questions will be in both English and Bengali. All the questions will be objective-type. All correct questions fetch 2 marks each and there is NO negative marking for the unattempted or incorrect options being chosen.

The WB ANM GNM application fee is different for various categories of candidates. Here is the details of the registration fee. For general category candidates, the application fee is INR 400 + applicable taxes and for the SC/ST/OBC candidates, it is INR 300 + applicable taxes.

The WB ANM registration process will be conducted entirely online. This year WB ANM application form was started from March 21, 2024. Applicants need to visit official website of WBJEEB, wbjeeb.nic.in. Create an account by registering using personal details, Complete and submit the application form, Scan and upload a copy of your picture and signature followed by paying application fee in online mode.

As per the official guidelines, a total of three rounds of counselling will be held including the mop-up round for JENPAS UG 2025 seat allotment. It is mandatory to participate in the counselling process in online mode. All the counselling related information and procedures will be available and followed via official website, wbjeeb.nic.in. Candidates are advised to check the important dates and schedule to stay abreast with the latest counselling events. 

The authorities will announce the list of WBJEE 2025 toppers via a press conference held by the authorities. For the previous year, the authorities announced the top 10 rankers in WBJEE along with their ranks. As per the announcement, Kingshuk Patra, Shubhradeep Paul, Bibaswan Biswas, Irradri Basu Khaund, Mayukh Chowdhury, Ritam Banerjee, Avik Das, Atharva Singhania, Shounak Kar and Bijit Moish secured the top 10 ranks in WBJEE 2024.

Yes. The authorities of WBJEEB are expected to announced the list of WBJEE 2025 toppers. The list of the top rankers in the entrance examination will be released through a press conference. In the previous year examination, Kingshuk Patra secured the first rank. Shubhradeep Paul and Bibaswan Biswas secured the second and third rank, respectively.

The authorities have not yet announcement the class commencement date for the qualified WBJEE 2025 candidates. However, the candidates can expect it to be announced soon. After the counselling and seat allotment is over, the candidates will be required to report to the allotted college for the commencement of classes. If the candidates have not confirmed their admission by paying the fee and verifying their documents before the final date, then their allotment will be disqualified.

WBJEE 2025 counselling process has started. Qualified candidates will have to participate in the online WBJEE counselling 2025 to be eligible for BTech admissions into the participating institutes. The authorities will conduct two rounds of WBJEE counselling along with a mop-up round. During the counselling process, the candidates will have to select their choice of colleges and courses in the order of preference. The allotment of seats will be done based on the candidate's rank, preferences and seat availability.
