Yes, you can get a seat in Jadavpur University.
10% of General Seat are there for Other State Students but competition is very high, so you need to have good rank (within 1000). But for good branch also you have to score rank within 400.

140+ marks or 120 rank is more than enough to get CSE in Jadavpur University. For NIT Durgapur general rank within 10000 for HS Students and general rank within 7500 for OS Students is good to get CSE.

Hi. The placements of the college is good especially for CSE, IT and ECE students. The average salary is now very high it goes to 4.5 Lacs per annum last year. More than 90% students are placed every year. The highest package last year was 8 Lacs per annum.
