Hi,
I would like to tell you about web designing in brief:
1. If we talk about scope of web design in India, It is running in all the Indian based and other MNC companies are having the web application and it requires for their project as a web designer.
2. Web designer software engineer will get a very good salary compared to others , no difference much between other engineers.
To become a web designer one should learn the followings:-
1.Learn Perl scripting or PHP, phython scripting.
2.Learn data base concept which can be used as a database interface with the web application
3. Learn HTML forms which can be used as dynamic scripts in the HT

Both the courses are different from each other. Digital marketing course will teach you how to make a website, place ads and promote your business. Web designing course will teach you how to customise your website.

The course fee would depend on the duration of the course and the institute from where you are doing the course.A short 3- month course would cost you around Rs 25000-45000/
Diploma courses are usually for a year which costs ranging from Rs 70000 to 1.5 lakhs depending on the subjects you include.

In IT start-ups they don't look for education background. If you're good in designing the websites you will get a job. Only big MNCs wants students from computer science background or engineering.

Yes, you can learn web designing from some training institution, but it would be hard to get good placements without a graduation degree.
