Usually candidates do not need to draw by hand. Thus, it is not mandatory to be good at drawing but a Graphic Designer need to use art/graphics to enhance as well as promote a product, enterprise etc. Although not necessarily required, drawing abilities might be useful for a graphic/web designer. Instead of using traditional drawing methods, graphic/web design software is used to create digital artwork and visual concepts.Drawing abilities, however, can undoubtedly improve a designer's capacity for ideation, visual concept communication, and unique illustration or graphic creation.

Yes, you can definitely become a UI/UX designer after becoming a web designer and these two go hand in hand. As a web designer knowing UI/UX will help you a lot in web design. There are many courses for UI/UX and centers which teach UI/UX over some time.

Eligibility criterion of Bachelor of Design: A candidate must pass Senior Secondary 10+2 from any stream with a minimum of 50 percent marks. Admission to Bachelor of Design courses shall be based upon merit in the qualifying examination. This is good that you want to become a web developer. Web developers are in huge demand nowadays. To become a professional web developer you need to follow some steps. First of all, learn HTML ( it takes 3-4 days ), and afterward, CSS3 ( takes 4-5 days) then Make a simple static website using 1 and 2. Learn twitter bootstrap ( 2-3 days). Now you have to learn some programming. Learn PHP & SQL. Now you are ready for making a dynamic website. For more advancement, your website learns javascript & node. Js. I think that is enough to make a good website. You can do B.Tech in Computer Science for making future in it.

NIFT entrance examination is Institutional based examination which will only help you to get into NIFT whereas UCEED is a common Entrance Examination which is accepted by many design colleges and universities. So if you plan to get into only NIFT then you do have to give NIFT Entrance Exam but if you plan to apply in many universities then UCEED is a better option as you'll have many university choices and you can get admission on the basis of UCEED score.
