IMS Kolkata offers programme in Management, Science, Computer and IT, Accounting and Commerce. For most of the courses such as BBA, BSc, MHA and BMLT offered at IMS Kolkata the college accepts CET. To be eligible for admission, candidates are required to apply and appear in entrance accepted by the college.Further, candidates must complete the basic eligiblity set by the college before applying for the admission. After completing all the admission related procedure, candidate can visit the college official website to apply for the admission.

Yes, aspirants can get direct admission at IMT Kolkata. Thus, candidates who do not get admission through the institute admission process can take admission. The direct admission is granted under the management quota.

IMS Kolkata offers admission based on entrance exams such as, CAT/XAT/MAT/CMAT. Once the registration is done the candidates are choosen based on the scores secured in these exams. The selected candidates are then called for WAT and GDPI. The candidates who fulfill are these criteria and requirements are choosen if their name appear on the merit-list released by IMS Kolkata.

Hostel fee varies from a minimum of about ?60,000 to about ?90,000 for per year by type of accommodation and service offered in Shantiniketan Business School, Nagpur. It is not combined with the mess charges though, as these are also paid. Accommodation has single, as well as common rooms. Facilities offered here are simple bedding, study tables, cabinets, Wi-Fi facilities, with the added provision of getting the premises hygienic regularly.
