While 5.5 in IELTS is an average score, it may not be sufficient to get you a seat at Case Western Reserve University. The minimum IELTS score that Case Western Reserve University accepts is 6.5, for admissions to its MS programmes. Please note that the required IELTS score can vary from course to course, however, the minimum IELTS score which is accepted at Case Western Reserve University is 6.5. Case Western Reserve University also accepts other English Language Proficiency test scores such as TOEFL.

Western University accepts application through OUAC, which is available on their website for students looking forward to apply. International students last date to apply is February 1, 2024. Candidates are guaranteed to be reviewed for admission if they apply within the deadlines. Western University does accept late applications. However, they don't guarantee space availability in their programs and applicants might not get a chance to make it to the university. Hence, overseas candidates must apply to Western University within the application deadlines in order to secure an enrolment.

Based on the ratio of admissions to applications,  Western University's acceptance rate stands at 58%. Since, the stats are on the higher end, we can conclude that Western University is a not the most competitive university to get in as it admits more than half of the applicants.
